Underwater Lift Bag Enclosed Style

The Canflex Heavy Duty Air Inflated underwater lift bags products are used world-wide for raising sunken objects, vessel salvage, marine structure stabilization, under water equipment transport, pipeline and equipment towing, and standby emergency buoyancy.

The Canflex Model TE/DLE (Totally Enclose Underwater Lift Bags style) are tear drop shaped units used for supporting loads on the surface of the water. These lift bags are equipped with one positive venting relief/dump valve mounted in center of the top lift plate. This valve is spring loaded and spring pressure set to automatically open when overpressured.

All TE/DLE lift bags up to 15 tonne capacity, come with a 146 mm threaded connector and an air tight cap. The use of this bottom fitting allows the lift bag to be either totally enclosed TE/DLE or open bottom OB/DLE.

Canflex Model TE/DLE lift features:

  • Made of high tenacity TPU/PVC coated polyester fabric (48 to 88 oz/yd2).
  • All seams RF welded
  • Polyester lift straps treated with special coating to prevent against UV degradation
  • Appropriate screw pin shackle(s) for a single lift point.
  • ½” NPT fill port
  • Relief/dump valve can be inverted and set to manual dump position for open bottom OB/DLE lift bag style.
  • Design safety factor 6:1
  • ABS load / volume certificate/verification of capacity available.
  • All products are Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard. Canflex (USA) Inc holds certificate No FM 517957
  • Canflex (USA) Inc has voluntary made the addition of IMCA guidelines to all Underwater Lift Bags (IMCA D 016 Rev.3 - June 2007). IMCA promotes improvements in quality, health, safety, environmental and technical standars through the publication of information notes, codes of paractice and by other appropiate means.

All underwater lift bags are completely equipped including the appropriate quantity of automatic air relief valves with manual dump capability, lift harness of high strength polyester, carry/storage satchel or Marine grade shipping /storage plywood box.
